Welcome!  to Dave Cushman's New Domain
http://www.dave-cushman.net/

This new facility, may take some time to complete, but visitors should not be too badly disrupted in their surfing.
The original website is still available through this link, some portions of it may not be as up to date as in this domain, but there will be fewer broken links on the old pages while upgrade takes place.

This website is never stagnant, new pages are added almost daily, old pages are continuously updated,
navigation is under reconstruction and the advent of this 'new domain' has made some of this improvement easier. HTML code is being updated and re-written to accommodate XHTML standards to allow XML usage, support for almost any browser is an aim rather than a certainty. Pages are still being modified so that they may be viewed sensibly at any screen resolution as of February 2005.

The format is deliberately high contrast and textually bold to help those with less than perfect eyesight.

Beekeeping & Bee Breeding

This website is dedicated to the study of bees and the education of both beekeepers and the general public, but I have other interests as well and these are reflected in the links at left.

During the site re-build there will inevitably be broken links and some images may be missing... Please report such faults by the Email Facility at bottom left.

I am a disabled gentleman with limited physical ability.

I live near Leicester in the U.K. Midlands at:-

Hatfield Terrace,   50 St. Peter's Street
SYSTON,   Leicestershire,   LE7 1HJ

This beekeeping website is worked on and updated almost every day and is intended as a resource for beekeepers and the non beekeeping public. Although specialised in places it also has general information that can be utilised by school children for homework projects.

This website always contains much 'work in progress' and some parts of it are untidy as a result. I apologise for such untidiness, which is gradually being addressed, and hope that any partial information is of use. In some cases I have stolen bits and pieces from other websites. If any of the material is copyrighted please let me know by Email and I will either remove it or seek permission to retain it.

Please surf freely, there are thousands of pages of information here, and many links to other useful sites.
I deliberately hold no copyright and grant free use of any of my material or software (apart from family photographs all of which are copyright, some of which are the copyright of my sister Anji Cushman and some others are the copyright of my father, Albert Cushman).
However I do take extreme exception to the material being misrepresented or having my name removed. I am also totally against any change in file format to 'Word' or .pdf type files. I spend a great deal of time rendering the information in a compact form and see it as a disgusting waste of resources for anyone to have to read it in any other fashion than by their browser.
I welcome constructive criticism, I am receptive to fresh ideas and I will give assistance to others in publishing material on the WWW.

I hope you will leave this web site having gained a little more knowledge of beekeeping, bees and their products.

The "SHOP" facility is a non profit making sales system for surplus beekeeping and domestic items.
