This list is affectionately known as "Tom's List" Tom Barrett of Dublin constructed and promoted it. The list is still "Tom's List": I am merely acting as an archivist and editor of "old" material.
This page is an index of other indexed pages that contain tables, each of which refer to 100 messages.
Each thread is on a separate document; the links from the message number in any thread will take you to that thread.
Individual messages do not show separately unless they are the only message in the thread.
The threads are indexed alphabetically at the time of editing. Use the "THREAD INDEX" button.

Individual texts are edited to produce a common, simple Email like format, with advertising stripped out, and flippant or personal messages removed. (to conserve space and help clarity.) The conversation threads are drawn together in individual documents.
There is an alphabetic index of threads.
Editing will remove comments that are of an offensive or of an attacking nature. Straight repeats of previous posts will also be removed. However the editing process is not intended to modify the meaning of anything said. Minor, obvious typos will be corrected unless they occur in the subject line.
The editing system will also enable the inclusion of material and comments from other lists (where they have become involved in the same thread). Some posts have complicated matters in the past by addressing more than one thread (I have been guilty of this), this will also be addressed in the editing process.
I am doing this work in a transparent fashion, You will see it come together as each item or stage is completed. (At some times it may appear messy!)
