Bee Relocation Service

HONEY BEES... often seen in numbers up to several hundred on flowering plants. Active mainly during the mid morning and afternoon... If there are many thousands of them clustering like a bunch of grapes... That is a swarm.
BUMBLE BEE... often seen on flowering plants, but in numbers up to a few dozen. May be seen early and late in the day.
WASP... both common and german wasps form nests in cavities or hanging from rafters. The nests are usually smooth on the outside. HORNET... usually nests inside hollow trees and not the hanging rugby ball shape depicted in American comics... They are quite rare in Britain.
I can offer advice on bees by telephone.

MOBILE PHONE NUMBER
If no number is visible in the line above, it is "out of season", the dedicated mobile phone is "switched off" and I am not available by that method... However you may Email any problems via the button in the strap at the bottom of the page, but please do not expect an instant response.

I can also (for a small fee) visit any site local to me (Leicestershire & Rutland only) to assess any perceived problem that you may have. I would then be in a position to advise the best course of action.

I am also able, (for another small fee) to remove and relocate bees if that is possible or the correct thing to do in the particular circumstance.

The small fees are non profit making and go towards the medical treatments that are required to keep the bees healthy.

PLEASE BE AWARE
That it is not always possible or desirable to remove bees

Hover your mouse on the pictures for a brief description. (The relative sizes of the insects depicted are a reasonable approximation.)
