Hornet Trap

Hornets are often feared or despised, however they are not ferocious (exept perhaps if you are attacking their nest).

In general they do much good in reducing the caterpillers and bugs that damage crops in our gardens.

However there are occasions when it may be considered prudent to remove them or reduce their numbers.

This device has similarities to the Wasp Trap, but the bait is different. and it is fabricated from wire mesh (8 mesh) and consists of a tube that is closed at both ends. however one of the ends has a long tapered funnel that has oriface of sufficient size to admit one hornet at a time
