Beekeeping Study Groups |
|---|
Beekeeping study groups allow self education and discussion among a group of friends, usually from the same area or beekeeping association.
If you know of any other regular study groups, please let me know and I will add the details to this page so that interested parties may be able to make contact.
There was a proposal to start an Email based beekeeping study group, using the Yahoo groups system, but nothing became of it.
This group is the most dedicated that I know of, it forms most years and the linked page will tell you a bit more about it. If you require to make contact, I suggest Micheál Mac Giolla Coda as the person to ask, he can be reached by the Email Micheál button on the Admin page.
I am not sure how frequently this group meets, but a message can be placed on the Irish list in order to find out more.
Not a study group in the accepted sense and often inactive for long periods of time, this group is aimed at research by numbers of beekeepers combining their skills and data to achieve worthwhile information on a shoestring budget (the sort most beekeepers have to resort to).
