Comparison Of Two Versions Of Plastic Cell Cups Made by JZ/BZ

The JZ/BZ company make various plastic bits and pieces to do with raising queens,
this page looks at the subtleties of variation in design between two versions of the same cup.
The two versions or types of plastic cell cup can be discerned by the strength of
colour or amount of dye in the plastic that they are moulded from. The strong/weak
colouration is the identifying feature, the colours themselves are merely for beekeeper
use in identifying different batches or different grafting operators. In this document the
images show strong blue and weak blue cups, purely for comparison purposes, there is no
significance in the choice of blue.
